OUR MISSION

Changing Views So Views Can Change

WE BELIEVE IN CHANGE

Second Chance Quest was organized to be the voice and positive image for men and women who have transcended from their criminal past. We fully realize that we are locked in a never ending cycle where it is not uncommon to find three generations of family members in prison serving time. That dark reality transcends race and religion, but far too often it is African Americans, Hispanics, and Poor Whites who live with that reality.

The war on drugs, poor schools, failed reentry programs and  Mass Incarceration, are just a few of the culprits that cause many men and women to be sentenced to decades of imprisonment for non-violent offenses. Second Chance Quest, along with the prevailing thought of many Democrats and Republicans, understands that this nation will be best served if we implement effective  “alternative sentencing” for non-violent offenders.

New Laws

Second Chance Quest is a vehicle of
alternative sentencing for non-violent
offenders. We envision those men and
women to truly be given second chance in life.

Children With Incarcerated Parents

Incarceration can have a troubling effect on children with a parent in prison. From teenage pregnancy to dropping out of school to incarceration. We foster these young people by Creating B.O.S.S.E.S

Educate

We educate the public on the injustices placed on non-violent offenders, children with incarcerated parents, and the effects of excessive prison sentences on our communities

“The difference is that they did not have the kind of support structures, the second chances, the resources that would allow them to survive those mistakes.”
